Abstract:
An automotive light fixture is provided in a vehicle (100) that travels around a corner by a vehicle body tilting toward the direction of a turn. The automotive light fixture comprises a light source; an optical member that emits light from the light source to the front of the fixture and forms a predetermined high beam light distribution pattern (PH); and a control unit that, when an oncoming vehicle (CV) outside the vehicle is detected, adjusts the high beam light distribution pattern (PH) to include a first light shielding range (B) in which the oncoming vehicle (CV) is not irradiated with the light. The control unit is configured to specify the first light shielding range (B) on the basis of a case where the vehicle body is in a straight state; obtain height information of the oncoming vehicle (CV) in accordance with a leaning state of the vehicle body when the vehicle body is in a cornering state; specify a second light shielding range (C), which is narrower than the first light shielding range (B), on the basis of the height information; and adjust the high beam light distribution pattern (PH) to include the second light shielding range (C) instead of the first light shielding range (B).
