Abstract:
An automotive lighting unit architecture capable of testing the electrical characteristics of a light-emitting diode element. At least one light-emitting diode light source (40, 40A, 40B, 40C) is selectively arranged on any one of at least one circuit path (53, 53A, 53B, 53C) of at least one driving power source loop (50, 50A, 50B, 50C), at least one loop cut-off unit (60, 60A, 60B, 60C) has at least one circuit switch (60X, 60Y) corresponding to the at least one driving power source loop (50, 50A, 50B, 50C) and is arranged on the circuit path (53, 53A, 53B, 53C) that is provided with the at least one light-emitting diode light source (40, 40A, 40B, 40C), and the at least one circuit switch (60X, 60Y) is controlled, such that the at least one circuit path (53, 53A, 53B, 53C) is in the state of being isolated from a driving power source, and an electric meter connection line (70, 71-1, 71-2, 71-3, 72-1, 72-2, 72-3) is connected to two sides of any one of the at least one light-emitting diode light source (40, 40A, 40B, 40C). Therefore, the at least one light-emitting diode light source (40, 40A, 40B, 40C) is in the state of being isolated from the driving power source and is not affected by the current and voltage of the driving power source loop (50, 50A, 50B, 50C), such that a current source electric meter (90) can sequentially perform die inspection on the at least one light-emitting diode light source (40, 40A, 40B, 40C) by means of the electric meter connection line (70, 71-1, 71-2, 71-3, 72-1, 72-2, 72-3), so as to find whether the at least one light-emitting diode light source (40, 40A, 40B, 40C) has been damaged or is about to be damaged.
