Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide an automotive member and a resistance-spot-welding method for the automotive member. The automotive member according to the present invention has a resistance-spot-welded portion in which a plurality of steel sheets including at least one high-strength steel sheet are subjected to resistance spot welding. The high-strength steel sheet has a specific component composition. The microstructure in the vicinity of a nugget end part of the resistance-spot-welded portion is a composite structure containing 1-30% by volume of ferrite, 1-50% by volume of martensite, and at least 20% by volume of annealed martensite. The average number density of Nb deposits having a particle size of less than 0.09 μm and Ti deposits having a particle size of less than 0.09 μm is at least 10 per 100 μm2 of a cross-section of the sheet.
