Abstract:
[Problem] To provide: a light-weight automotive side door comprising a metal member and a resin member, the joining strength of which members is high; and a production method for the side door. [Solution] This side door comprises: a metal member 1 in which one or more resin coating layers 4 are layered on a surface of at least a portion of a metal base 2; and a resin member 8 that is joined to a surface 4s of the metal member 1 at the resin coating layer 4 side. At least one of the resin coating layers 4 is a modified polyolefin layer formed of a resin composition containing a modified polyolefin. The modified polyolefin layer is at least one selected from the group consisting of a layer containing a reaction product 1 of a maleic anhydride-modified polyolefin, a bifunctional epoxy resin, and a bifunctional phenolic compound, a layer containing a reaction product 2 of a maleic anhydride-modified polyolefin and a thermoplastic epoxy resin, and a layer containing a mixture of a polyolefin and a thermoplastic epoxy resin.
