Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2011/099303
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is an automotive supplementary sun visor such that there is no need at all to make design changes to existing equipment inside the interior of a vehicle, such as sun visors or a rearview mirror, or to perform matters such as changes to specifications for the body structure of the vehicle; that said automotive supplementary sun visor can be mounted on the support shaft of the rearview mirror by making use of the flexibility of a shade plate itself; that sunlight which cannot be blocked by an existing sun visor can be dimmed or reliably blocked from entering from around the rearview mirror; and that this automotive supplementary sun visor can be obtained at low cost and in a handy way. A material having appropriate flexibility is used to form a shade plate body to a shape which makes up for a gap between left and right sun visors installed in the interior of the vehicle. A slit with an appropriate length is provided from the upper edge of the shade plate body toward the central portion. The shade plate body is formed in such a way as to be capable of being mounted on or removed from the rearview mirror mounting support shaft by means of the slit and the flexibility of the shade plate body itself. Thereby this shade plate body constitutes the automotive supplementary sun visor.
