Abstract:
This autonomous transport vehicle comprises: a vehicle body that can be set in an entered state in which at least a part of the vehicle body enters underneath a transportation object having wheels, and has a driving wheel and can travel while towing the transportation object in the entered state; and a center-approaching mechanism that is provided to the vehicle body, that engages, in a horizontal first direction, with the transportation object in the entered state of the vehicle body, and that moves the vehicle body relatively to the transportation object such that the center of the transportation object in the first direction approaches the center of the vehicle body in the first direction.
