Abstract:
Provided are an autonomous travel device, a method for controlling this autonomous travel device, and a control program for this autonomous travel device, with which the quality of work with respect to the travel surface can be improved and the work interval between locations that are adjacent to each other can be shortened. This autonomous travel device (100), which performs work with respect to a travel surface, begins travel from the second (for example, a travel path (L2)) or the third (for example, a travel path (L3)) of four parallel travel paths that are adjacent to each other and have been set virtually. The autonomous travel device (100) travels the four travel paths (the travel paths (L1-L4)) in a sequence such that the device does not move to an adjacent travel path from the travel path being travelled. When the autonomous travel device (100) finishes travelling the four travel paths (L1-L4), the device travels the next four travel paths (L5-L8) in the same order.
