Abstract:
An auxiliary braking device for a vehicle is provided with an accelerator pedal operation amount detection means, a brake pedal operation amount detection means, a wheel speed detection means, and a wheel speed difference calculation means. The wheel speed difference calculation means calculates the wheel speed difference between the wheel speed of a front wheel and the wheel speed of a rear wheel on the basis of a wheel speed signal outputted from the wheel speed detection means, and outputs a calculation result signal. When the wheel speed difference obtained from the wheel speed difference calculation means is greater than or equal to a predetermined value, a braking assist means assists the braking of the vehicle.
