Abstract:
The present application provides an auxiliary control device for a terminal. The device comprises a back plate patch, control buttons embedded on the back plate patch, a communication module, and a control module. The control module is used for identifying a target operation on a control button and generating a corresponding target operation instruction according to the target operation. The control button may be a rolling ball and/or a button; operations on the rolling ball may be a sliding operation and a pressing operation, and the operation on the button is a pressing operation. The communication module is used for establishing a communication connection with a terminal device and sending a target operation instruction to the terminal device. The target operation instruction is used for operating an application on the terminal device or triggering a service. In embodiments of the present application, the auxiliary control device for a terminal, as an external device of the terminal device, can operate an application on the terminal device or trigger a service by means of a rolling ball and/or a button, and therefore can conveniently operate the application or service on the terminal device in some scenarios where the terminal device is not convenient to use.
