Abstract:
The present invention relates to an auxiliary filter assembly for a drain, wherein foreign substances accumulated within a drain of a bathtub are easily removed and replacement can be frequently carried out. The invention comprises: an auxiliary filter which is to be placed on an upper side of a fixed filter within the drain; and a metal part which is installed on said auxiliary filter. Thus, the invention enables: an auxiliary filter, on which foreign substances are collected, to be simply taken out by using a stick member, and said auxiliary filter to be manufactured as a disposable type that can be thrown away along with the foreign substances, thereby essentially preventing a user from coming in contact with the foreign substances, and further, allowing easy replacement for removing the foreign substances collected on said auxiliary filter; and foreign substances to be prevented from getting caught in the existing fixed filter whereby the propagation of germs and a bad smell or the like can be suppressed.
