Abstract:
An auxiliary light device built-in in a camera, not causing uneven light exposure on an image surface in close-range imaging even if a light reflection section of the auxiliary light device is installed displaced, relative to the optical axis of an imaging lens, to the left or right, or obliquely upward to the left or obliquely upward to the right. A reflection umbrella is composed of a peripheral wall section formed around the axis of a light emission section and of two side wall surfaces that intersect the direction of the axis of the light emission section and are faced to each other. The angles formed by the two side wall surfaces of the reflection umbrella and a plane orthogonal to the light emission section are different from each other. Alternatively, the angle between a side wall surface, out of the two side wall surfaces, separated by a greater distance from the optical axis of the imaging lens and the light emission section is variable.
