Abstract:
When an input screen on which points for all the 28 teeth are to be input is displayed on a display unit (40), the operator, by referring to evaluation criteria correlating the conditions of dental tissues and periodontal tissues with corresponding points, inputs points for respective teeth for storing in a main memory (20). When points for all the teeth are input, CPU (10) reads points for respective teeth from the main memory (20), calculates total points for respective teeth, and divide the total points by 3 to calculate the age of a particular tooth for displaying on display unit (40), thereby providing the age of a tooth as auxiliary information effective in judging the conditions in the oral cavity.
