Abstract:
Auxiliary safety device for a tire of an automobile, which is formed so that, when a tire of an automobile is punctured while the automobile runs or is parked, the automobile can run safely to a place comparatively close to the place of puncture without damage to the tire, and the characteristics of a particular construction of this device reside in that a disc type member having a diameter larger than the outer diameter of a wheel body and smaller than the outer diameter of the tire and a suitable level of strength is provided so as to extend in parallel with the wheel body. Owing to this disc type member, the weight of the automobile is supported thereon even when the tire is punctured. This enables the automobile to run safely to a neighboring target place without causing the tire to be damaged.
