Abstract:
An AV device is controlled in the manner intended by an operator from an external location without creating competition between user operations and operator operations, and without using a gateway. The AV device, which can be operated over a network, is provided with an operation command receiver (112) for receiving the operation commands provided through a network; an operation acceptance unit (111) for accepting an operation provided directly without going through the network; a restriction decision unit (113) for distinguishing between operations based on the operation command received by the operation command receiver (112) and operations accepted by the operation acceptance unit (111), and for determining whether or not to restrict each operation; an image receiver-side controller (115) in which control is executed according to the operation when the restriction decision unit (113) decides that the operation will not be restricted; and a basic display unit (191) for providing a display based on the basic functions. The display corresponding to the operation commands provided through the network is superimposed on the display of the basic display unit (191).
