Abstract:
This awakener (1) comprises: a sleepiness-level measuring unit for measuring a sleepiness level; a change determining unit for determining a change of the sleepiness level; a mode setting unit for setting a mode of stimulation for awakening; and an awakening stimulation-providing unit for providing stimulation for awakening according to the mode. The mode setting unit sets, at least in part of the process of lowering of the sleepiness level, a mode including new stimulation for awakening instead of stimulation for awakening included in a mode before the sleepiness level decreases.
