Abstract:
An awakening induction device (100) comprises: a first awakening unit (e.g., a speaker device (410)) for prompting the awakening of a user (500) by periodically repeating a first stimulation period in which a first type of stimulus is imparted to the user, and a first suspension period in which no stimulus is imparted; a second awakening unit (e.g., a vibrator (110)) for prompting the awakening of the user (500) by periodically repeating a second stimulation period in which a second type of stimulus is imparted to the user, and a second suspension period in which no stimulus is imparted; and a control unit (e.g., a speaker control device (420) and a controller (120)) for controlling the first awakening unit and the second awakening unit so as to include a synchronous cycle in which the first stimulation period start timing and second stimulation period start timing are synchronized, and an asynchronous cycle in which the first stimulation period start timing and second stimulation period start timing are shifted from one another.
