Abstract:
This axial flow compressor is provided with: a cylindrical casing (7); variable stator vanes (12) which each have a vane shaft (17) as the center of pivoting and which are provided within the casing (7) as the stator vanes or inlet guide vanes and are arranged in the circumferential direction of the casing (7); rotor vanes (13) provided within the casing (7) on the rear edge (16d) side of the variable stator vanes (12) and arranged in the circumferential direction of the casing (7); and a plasma actuator (40) for generating plasma which intersects the clearance (32) between the casing (7) and the variable stator vanes (12) and which is distributed annularly in the circumferential direction of the casing (7), the plasma actuator (40) being mounted to the inner peripheral surface (7a) of the casing (7).
