Abstract:
An axial flow fan (10) that comprises: a motor main body (1); an impeller (2) that is provided to a rotary body of the motor main body (1) and that has provided thereto a vane that is shaped to cause air to flow in a rotary shaft direction for the motor main body (1); a cup section (31) that has a bottom surface on which is arranged the side of the motor main body (1) that is opposite the side on which the impeller (2) is provided; an exterior section (33) that is provided to cover the motor main body (1); a plurality of stationary blades (32) that are provided to connect the cup section (31) and the exterior section (33) and that are shaped to allow air to pass in the rotary shaft direction; a disc-shaped base plate (15) that has a center hole in which is positioned a rotary shaft of the motor main body (1), that is provided to be fixed to the cup section (31), and that is for controlling the motor main body (1); and a damper (DP) that is provided between the base plate (15) and a section for fixing to the cup section (31) and that suppresses vibration by means of internal friction.
