Abstract:
Provided are an axial gap dynamoelectric machine and a method of manufacturing thereof such that continuously wound coils of densely wound wire can be easily assembled in the axial direction, and such that lower pricing, improvement in the cooling performance, and maintaining of inter-phase insulation of the dynamoelectric machine are achieved. Continuously wound coils (10a-10i) comprised of concentrated coils of densely wound wire which are connected with bridging wire (15) are prepared for three phases (U, V, W phases). The bridging wires (15) of two of the three phases of continuously wound coils are set in advance to incline at different angles in the axial direction, and the three phases of continuously wound coils are assembled in the axial direction and form a ring (fig. 4). In another embodiment, the bridging wires of the three phases of continuously wound coils are formed in advance into a configuration that bypasses each of the bottom, center, and top sections of the coils in the radial direction, and the three phases of continuously wound coils are assembled in the axial direction and form a ring (fig. 20). Further in another embodiment, wiring blocks (20) for securing the positions of the bridging wires for the three phases are inserted into the bridging wires, in addition to the embodiments mentioned above (fig. 22).
