Abstract:
An axial gap-type motor according to the present invention comprises: a motor housing; a rotating shaft supported rotatably in the center of the motor housing; a stator, fixed in the motor housing, having a stator core and coil; and a rotor arranged with a predetermined air gap with at least one surface from among the upper and the lower surfaces of the stator and connected to the rotating shaft, wherein the stator core comprises a plurality of partitioned cores formed as a single body by compression molding an amorphous metal, and a metal plate on which the plurality of partitioned cores are radially inserted and assembled so as to allow the stator cores and the metal plate to be separated and manufactured, and then assembled by inserting into each other, thereby preventing damage to the mold and the stator cores, and reducing manufacturing costs, and as a separate process for arranging the stator cores radially is obviated, manufacturing process is simplified and productivity is improved.
