Abstract:
An axial gap type power generator of the present invention is equipped with a coil consisting of a plurality of sub-coils each having a single pancake structure, the winding of each of which is started from the inner circumferential side and ended on the outer circumferential side. The sub-coils are disposed in a circumferential direction about the position of a rotational axis. Adjacent sub-coils are connected to each other in series such that the winding end of one of the sub-coils becomes the winding start of the other thereof. A coil section at the position of the winding end of the one of the sub-coils and another coil section at the position of the winding start of the other thereof are overlapped with each other in a coil axis direction.
