Abstract:
A limited slip differential (21) comprises: a differential case (22); pinion gears (29) which rotate together with the differential case (22); left and right side gears (30, 31) which mesh with the pinion gears (29); left and right transmission shafts (32, 33) which connect the side gears (30, 31) and axles (19, 20); non-rotating disks (35) which do not rotate relative to the differential case (22); rotating disks (36) which rotate together with the side gears (30, 31); and pressure rings (34) which bring the rotating disks (36) and the non-rotating disks (35) into frictional contact with each other when the differential case (22) rotates. The rotating disks (36) are each provided with an inner peripheral oil groove (37B) and an outer peripheral oil groove (37C), and lubricating oil within the differential case (22) is caused to flow in the axial direction through the inner peripheral oil groove (37B) and the outer peripheral oil groove (37C).
