Abstract:

To obtain a back door structure for a vehicle, the back door structure enabling the back door to be more satisfactorily mounted to the vehicle. A back door inner panel (34) has formed thereon a pair of connection beads (46) for connecting a lock mechanism installation section (38) and the portions of the back door inner panel (34) which are located on the outer sides of a lateral bead (44) in the width direction of the vehicle. The upper ends (46A) of the connection beads (46) are disposed at positions separated from the lateral bead (44) and are connected to an annular bead (42). The sides of each of the upper ends (46A) are provided with an outer side-wall section (48A) and an inner side-wall section (48B) which are raised in the direction of the thickness of the back door (30). In a front view of the door, the outer side-wall sections (48A) and the inner side-wall sections (48B) extend in the direction perpendicular to a line extended from the lateral bead (44). Also, the outer side-wall sections (48A) are integrated with the inner peripheral wall section (42A) of the annular bead (42).
