The back following support device comprises: a backrest plate (11); a flexible back and waist support comprising a cushion air bag (12) arranged on the backrest plate (11); and a regulation and control system (3), wherein the regulation and control system (3) comprises a controller (31), an air feeder (35) for inflating the cushion air bag (12), a pressure regulating valve assembly (332) for controlling the amount of air in the cushion air bag (12) and an air pressure sensor (321) for acquiring an air pressure in the cushion air bag (12), and the air feeder (35), the pressure regulating valve assembly (332) and the air pressure sensor (321) are all connected to the controller (31). According to the solution, the comfort level of a seat and the back following support device can be adjusted, the waist and back of a user can be effectively supported, and requirements of different groups of people are met.
