Abstract:
A server rack and a back-up battery rack are provided in a data center, and the plurality of battery modules used in the back-up battery rack are a plurality of battery modules of used primary batteries for use as an emergency power supply for the server rack. A monitoring device determines a system configuration for a plurality of battery modules in the back-up battery rack on the basis of the specifications required for the back-up battery rack and the history characteristics of the battery modules of used primary batteries in the server rack.
