Abstract:
A backflow prevention urinal is disclosed. The urinal has a urine receiver and a drain provided in the lower portion of the urine receiver to discharge urine. The drain includes a housing connected to a waste pipe and having a shape of a container. A main body is provided in the housing and includes an inlet provided on the upper portion in the housing so that the urine is introduced into the inlet, a passage which is provided under the inlet, is bored horizontally and has a circular shape, a slope communicating with the passage and inclined downwards towards the passage, and an outlet provided in the slope and discharging the urine passing through the passage. A control ball is received in the slope, and moves downwards because of gravity to close the passage, or opens the passage by pressure of the urine flowing into the inlet.
