Abstract:
Disclosed are a background model extracting method and apparatus and an image processing device. The extracting method comprises: acquiring a multi-frame image of a monitored area; and obtaining a background model of the monitored area according to a frequency of occurrence of pixel value ranges in the multi-frame image. As a result, a ghost phenomenon occurring during the image detection process can be reduced, and objects having a relatively low moving speed or remaining stationary for a particular period of time can be detected, while at the same time achieving higher image detection accuracy and better noise tolerant capability.
