A backlight adjusting method, a backlight adjusting apparatus, a computing device, a display device, and a storage medium. The backlight adjusting method comprises: determining a region of attention and a region of non-attention on a display image on the basis of a point of attention of a user in the image (S101); and carrying out first-precision adjustment with first precision on backlight brightness of the region of attention, and carrying out adjustment with second precision on backlight brightness of the region of non-attention (S102).
