Abstract:
Provided is a backlight device, wherein an increase in the number of manufacturing processes can be limited, and the phenomenon of the brightness of the display panel becoming uneven can also be limited. This backlight device (20) is provided with a substrate (22) upon which multiple LEDs (21) are to be installed, and connectors (23) to be arranged upon the substrate. Luminous flux at the periphery of the connectors is greater compared to luminous flux at places other than the periphery of the connectors.
