Abstract:
In order for a backlight device to suppress the occurrence of situations in which
all light emitting elements are impossible to turn on, the back light device is
provided with a light source of a plurality of light emitting elements (D1-D9)
and a plurality of electric power systems (electric power circuits (2a-2c)).
The plural light emitting elements (D1-D9) are divided into not less than two
groups, each one of which is connected in series with the other group and is supplied
with electric power from different electric power sources. It is desirable
that the plural light emitting elements (D1-D9) are integrated for every less
than two light emitting elements of different groups with a resin material to
form a plurality of light emitting units (5a-5c).
