Abstract:
Disclosed is a backlight device. The backlight device comprises: a light source; a light guide panel which uniformly guides the light emitted from the light source; light guide patterns which are installed on at least one side of the light guide panel; a reflection member which is installed in the lower part of the light guide panel; and a diffusion member which is installed in the upper part of the light guide panel, wherein at least one inclined surface is formed on the light guide panel, and the angle of the upper edges of the inclined surface formed on the light guide plate is set to an obtuse angle in such a manner that a strong emission of light produced from the edge part of the light guide panel is minimized.
