Abstract:
A backlight module (100) and a liquid crystal display comprising the backlight module (100). The backlight module (100) comprises a back plate (20), an arc-shaped light guide plate (30) disposed on the back plate (20), and a light source (40) disposed on a side surface of the arc-shaped light guide plate (30). A heat dissipation plate (50) is also disposed on the back plate (20). The heat dissipation plate (50) comprises a supporting portion (51) and a mounting portion (52). The supporting portion (51) is fixed to the back plate (20). The mounting portion (52) is used for mounting the light source (40). The included angle between the supporting portion (51) and the mounting portion (52) is α. A quantum bar fixing frame (60) is disposed on the heat dissipation plate (50). The quantum bar fixing frame (60) comprises a main body portion (61) and a connecting portion (62). The connecting portion (62) is connected to the supporting portion (51). The main body portion (61) is disposed between the light source (40) and the arc-shaped light guide plate (30). The main body portion (61) is provided with an accommodating groove (621), a light inlet groove (622) and a light outlet groove (623) that are in communication with one another. The accommodating groove (621) is used for placing a quantum bar (10). The light inlet groove (622) faces to the light source (40). The light outlet groove (623) faces to the arc-shaped light guide plate (30). The included angle between the main body portion (61) and the connecting portion (62) is β, wherein α = β. The main body portion (61) is approximately parallel to the light inlet surface of the arc-shaped light guide plate (30).
