Abstract:
A backlight module and display device. The backlight module comprises an sealant frame (2) and a light guide plate (4) configured to be in the sealant frame, wherein parts of two non-incidence sides parallel to the sealant frame (2), in a proximity to an incidence side respectively, have empty space structures, and a side of the empty space structure away from an end surface of the light guide plate (4) is enclosed via a cover structure. The method reduces lateral bright lines of the backlight module, and improves screen quality of the backlight module.
