Abstract:

A backlight module and a display device. The backlight module comprises a reflecting layer (13) and a diffusion plate (11) which are arranged opposite to each other, a light source (12) being arranged between the reflecting layer (13) and the diffusion plate (11); and a light-emergent surface of the light source (12) faces the reflecting layer (13), and the light emitted by the light source (12) reaches the diffusion plate (11) after being reflected by the reflecting layer (13) and is then emitted after being diffused by the diffusion plate (11). An LED light source (12) or another light source (12) is inversely arranged between the diffusion plate (11) and the reflecting layer (13) in the backlight module; and therefore, under the given condition of a certain mixed light distance, the backlight module is smaller in whole thickness, the light emitted by the backlight module is uniform, and the cost is also lowered at the same time.
