Abstract:
Disclosed are a backlight module (10) and a display device. The backlight module (10) comprises a light source (11), a plate-like light intensity splitting member (12), and a reflector plate (13), wherein the plate-like light intensity splitting member (12) and the reflector plate (13) are arranged opposite to each other so as to form a hollow light guide space (M) therebetween, and the plate-like light intensity splitting member (12) is configured to split the incident light from the light source (11) into reflected light directed at the reflector plate (13) and transmitted light passing through the plate-like light intensity splitting member (12). The backlight module (10) does not need to adopt a light guide plate, thereby saving the manufacturing cost of the backlight module (10) and being beneficial for increasing the light utilization rate of the backlight module (10).
