Abstract:
Provided are a backlight module and a display device. The backlight module comprises: a light guide (3) and a position-limiting structure (10). The position-limiting structure (10) comprises: a supporting plate (1) and a flexible position-limiting protrusion (2) disposed on the supporting plate (1). The flexible position-limiting protrusion (2) is opposite to a side surface of the light guide (3). When acted upon by a pressure from the side surface of the light guide (3), the flexible position-limiting protrusion (2) is flexibly deformed in a direction perpendicular to the supporting plate (1). The backlight module ensures a position-limiting function with respect to the light guide (3), so that the light guide (3) does not make an excessive movement to rub against a reflection layer and/or a diffusion layer, and thus a white spot defect is prevented. Moreover, when the light guide (3) is moved, the light guide (3) does not experience deformation defects, such as upward protrusion, downward protrusion, or bending, caused by excessive resistance of the supporting plate (1).
