Abstract:
Provided are a backlight module and a display device. The backlight module comprises: a light guide panel (11); a backlight source (12) positioned at one side surface of the light guide panel (11); and an optical structure (13) positioned at a light emitting surface side of the light guide panel (11). A pigment (14) having a particular color is provided in the optical structure. A concentration of the pigment (14) in the optical structure (13) is increasing in a direction away from the backlight source (12). In the backlight module and the display device, light emitted by the backlight source passes through the light guide panel and then is mixed with the color of the pigment in the optical structure to form white light, thereby mitigating a color shift problem occurring in a backlight module. In the present invention, the pigment does not cause additional color shift, and the backlight module has a shorter adjustment period and low costs.
