Abstract:
A backlight module (100) having a quantum strip, comprising a backboard (20), a light guide plate (30) arranged on the backboard (20) and a light source (40) arranged on one side surface of the light guide plate (30), a quantum strip (10) being arranged between the light source (40) and the light guide plate (30), wherein a reflecting layer (101) is coated on or adhered to a part of a periphery of the quantum strip (10), the reflecting layer (101) enables the periphery of the quantum strip (10) to form a light inlet (102) and a light outlet (103), the light inlet (102) faces the light source (40), the light outlet (103) faces the light guide plate (30), and the width of the light outlet (103) is smaller than that of the light inlet (102). Also provided is a liquid crystal display device comprising the backlight module.
