Abstract:
The invention provides a backlight module and a liquid crystal display. The backlight module comprises a light source, a printed circuit board and a reflecting piece. The light source comprises a light emitting surface which is parallel to the printed circuit board and has a light source distance from the printed circuit board. The reflecting piece is arranged on the light source side and provided with a reflective layer, wherein the reflective layer is protruded toward the opposite direction of the printed circuit board, and has a maximum distance larger than the light source distance from the printed circuit board.
