Abstract:
A backlight module (100) and a liquid crystal display device are provided. The backlight module (100) comprises: a light guide plate (110), comprising a light inlet surface (111) and a light outlet surface (112) connected with the light inlet surface (111); a light bar (120), disposed at one side of the light inlet surface (111), and one side of the lamp bar (120) close to the light inlet surface (111) being disposed with multiple LED light sources (121) at intervals; and an optical film (130), disposed on the light outlet surface (112), and one side of the optical film (130) close to the lamp bar (120) comprising multiple notches (131a, 131b, 131c, 131d, 131e,…, 131n). The multiple notches (131a, 131b, 131c, 131d, 131e,…, 131n) are disposed in one-to-one correspondence with the multiple LED light sources (121). In the backlight module (100), the optical film (130) with a shape cut according to arrangement of the LED light sources (121) is used to improve the problem of unequivalent luminance distribution at a light inlet side of the backlight module (100), improve quality of the backlight module (100), and solve the problem of light leakage of the backlight module (100) under a narrow frame design.
