Abstract:
A backlight module (20) and a liquid crystal display device having the backlight module (20). The backlight module (20) comprises a light guide plate (21), the light guide plate (21) has a light incident side surface (211), wherein a plurality of V-shaped grooves (22) are disposed on the light incident side surface (211), the plurality of V-shaped grooves (22) are arranged at equal intervals on the light incident side surface (211) along a width direction of the light guide plate (21), and light-emitting assemblies (23) are disposed at positions opposite to slopes of the V-shaped grooves (22). With the backlight module (20) and the liquid crystal display device having the backlight module (20), the luminance of light exiting from the backlight module can be improved in an effective way.
