Abstract:
A backlight module, comprising: a transparent light guide body (110) having a light-incident side surface (111) and a sealed accommodating cavity (112); a plurality of quantum dots (120) accommodated in the accommodating cavity (112); and a light source (130) disposed adjacent to the light-incident side surface (111). Also provided is a liquid crystal display having the backlight module. A glass flat panel is used for sealedly packing quantum dot (120) materials, so that the quantum dot (120) materials are prevented from being affected by water vapor and oxygen, thereby facilitating the display of the liquid crystal display.
