Abstract:
A display device according to the present invention comprises: a display panel for displaying an image; a light guide plate overlapping with the display panel; and a light source unit including a plurality of light sources arranged to be spaced apart from each other to provide light to a light incident surface. The lower surface of the display device comprises: a backlight unit including an active region adjacent to a light facing surface and a pattern region adjacent to the light incident surface and connected to the active region; diffusion pattern parts disposed in the active region; and functional pattern parts disposed in the pattern region. Each of the functional pattern parts overlaps with each of the spaces between the light sources when viewed in a first direction from the light source unit towards the light incident surface.
