Abstract:
An aspect of the disclosed invention provides a backlight unit having solved the problem of wrinkling of an optical sheet, which may be caused by external factors such as the temperature or the humidity, and a display device including same. A display device according to an embodiment comprises: a backlight unit including an optical sheet; and an image-forming unit for allowing transmission of or blocking light emitted from the backlight unit to generate an image, wherein the optical sheet includes a plurality of sheets, and at least one of the plurality of sheets includes a shape memory material.
