Abstract:
A backlight unit comprises a backplate (8) and a light guide plate (10). The backplate (8) comprises a main body part and a bent part connected to the main body part. The main body part comprises a first plate surface (83) and a second plate surface (84) opposite to each other. The bent part at least comprises a connecting portion (80) and an installation portion (81) extending opposite to the first plate surface (83) from the connecting portion (80). The connecting portion (80) is a bent structure bending along a first side of the main body part. A bending direction of the connecting portion (80) is a direction going from the second plate surface (84) to the first plate surface (83) of the main body part. The light guide plate (10) is disposed on the first plate surface (83) of the main body part. A side of the installation portion (81) away from the connecting portion (80) is oppositely disposed to a first end face of the light guide plate (10), and a light source is disposed on the installation portion (81). Also disclosed is a display device.
