Abstract:
A backplane and a backplane system are provided by the embodiment of present invention. The backplane comprises at least two service slots having the same functions and a cross slot. Among the pins which respectively connect the different service slots having the same functions to the cross slot, at least two of the pins are in a stepped layout. In the embodiment of present invention, among the pins which respectively connect plural service slots having the same functions to the cross slot, at least two of the pins are in a stepped layout, therefore the assignment and direction of connection lines which connect the pins of each service slot having the same functions to the cross slot can be adjusted, and the wiring density of a single wiring layer can be increased. Thus the connection lines between each service slot and the cross slot can be staggered in less wiring layers or even in one wiring layer, the number of utilized wring layers are decreased and the backplane cost is reduced.
