Abstract:
A backplane (10) and a direct-lit backlight module. The backplane (10) comprises a side plate (11) which forms a flared shape, and a bottom plate (12) connected to the side plate (11), wherein inwardly protruding ribs (13) connected to the side plate (11) and the bottom plate (12) are provided at corners formed by the connection of the side plate (11) and the bottom plate (12). The inwardly protruding ribs (13) provided at transitional corners between the side plate (11) and the bottom plate (12) of the backplane (10) improves the integral rigidity of the backplane (10) without thickening the backlight module. Moreover, the side plate (11) is configured as a first side plate (11a) and a second plate (11b), and the second side plate (11b) is obliquely connected between the first side plate (11a) and the bottom plate (12) so as to increase the extensional length of the bottom plate (12) and ensure the optical performance of the backplane (10).
