Abstract:
Disclosed are a backup energy-storage apparatus for a digital-subscriber-line access device, and a method for controlling same; said apparatus comprises a control module, an energy storage module, and a switchover module connected to the output terminal of the energy storage module, the output terminal of the switchover module being arranged connected to a user-terminal load; the input terminal of the control module is arranged connected to a power supply terminal, and its output terminal is connected to the control terminal of the switchover module; the energy storage module is arranged such that: it is connected to the power supply terminal, and when the power supply terminal is powered on, stores electrical energy provided by the power supply terminal; the control module is arranged such that: when a power failure of the power supply terminal is detected, the control module controls the switchover module to switch from a disconnected state to an activated state, causing the energy storage module to use the stored electrical energy to supply power to the user-terminal load.
