Abstract:
Provided is a technique for extracting a bacterial group which is estimated to be associated with a health condition such as a disease. A bacterial group extraction method for producing a plurality of bacterial group data by applying a bacterial flora analysis and a DNA fingerprint method to data on nucleotide sequence groups derived from stools collected from a plurality of subjects and then extracting a bacterial group which is associated with a health condition, the method being carried out using a computer which can compare the bacterial group data with each other, can statistically analyze health condition data on the subjects and the compared bacterial group data, and can extract a bacterial group data which is statistically significantly associated with a predetermined health condition data.
