Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a badminton shuttlecock that has no individual differences and can be manufactured at low cost. [Solution] Provided is a badminton shuttlecock 1 that comprises, connected in order from the front end, a base 10, a feather shaft portion 20, and a feather portion 30, wherein: the feather shaft portion 20 has an overall shape that is a truncated cone expanding toward the rear end and comprises a plurality of feather shafts 21, the front ends of which are coupled to the base 10, and a feather shaft coupling ring 24 that extends in a direction orthogonal to the feather shafts 21 and couples the plurality of feather shafts 21; and the feather portion 30 comprises a plurality of feathers 31 that comprise a feather core 32 in which an insertion hole 33 is formed wherein the rear end of the feather shaft 21 is inserted into the insertion hole, and a feather vane 35.
